Your everyday tasks can be more fun and less stressful with these cheat codes I’m about to show you. There’s no reason not to adopt some of them, if not all.
Quick Chill
Imagine it’s a hot day and you’re craving a cold drink, but there’s none in the fridge. You’ll have to head to the store to get one or quickly put any available drink in the fridge, right? Sadly, the first option is stressful, while the other will take a bit of time. So, what do you do?

I’d take the third option, if I were you—wrap your drink in a wet paper towel and put it in the fridge. This hack would get your drink cool really fast.
Stop The Tears
Does cutting onions make you cry? Chew gum while you’re at it and stop those tears from always flowing. Onions, when cut, release a gas that forms sulfuric acid in your eyes which your tears try to wash away.

But when you chew gum, you swallow continuously. This throat movement redirects the gas away from your eyes and into your throat. It doesn’t work for everyone though, but you can try it out.
Sparkling Shoes
Don’t be surprised that your toothpaste can also work wonders when it comes to shoes. You can make those dirty shoes good as new with just a little scrub.

Get a white toothpaste and a toothbrush and scrub your shoes. Leave for about ten minutes and wipe the toothpaste off with a damp cloth. The toothpaste has some mild detergents that can remove excess dirt and grime.
Sleep Time Scent
If you’re having trouble sleeping, it’s because you’ve not heard about lavender oil. Now, this oil has calming and soothing properties that reduce anxiety and improve sleep.

Put a few drops on your pillow or bedsheet, lie down and breathe it in. Your nerves will get calm and you’ll be able to sleep.
Sticker Mess
There’s a way to get rid of that gummy stuff stickers leave behind when you take them off. Get any kind of cooking oil you have and pour a little on a clean cloth. Press the cloth onto the sticker surface and let the oil soak in for about ten minutes.

When the time is up, use the towel to clean the surface and all that sticky mess would go away.
Easy Key Rings
Fixing a new key onto a bunch can be stressful and hurt your fingers but there’s a simple way to go around it. Get a staple remover and open its mouth wide. Now, press your key ring down with the teeth of the staple remover.

This would make the key ring open wide and you can now slide your new key(s) in effortlessly. Remove the staple remover when done and your key ring will go back to shape, with your new key in place.
Banana Ice-cream
Everyday, we’re presented with making healthier choices in our diet. So, when you’re craving ice-cream or something sweet and you’ve probably had enough sugar for the day, your banana is always there for you.

Grab your bananas, peel, cut and freeze them. Then, blend the frozen bananas. Blend till they’re creamy like ice-cream and enjoy.
Teddy Bear Trick
When you’re stuck on your homework, you don’t need to waste time trying to figure out what to do next, just get your teddy bear buddy and sit him next to you.

Now, you’re going to act like the teddy is somebody else and teach them the homework. Start explaining from the top and when you get to where you’re stuck, you’ll discover that you’ll be able to explain past it.
Sock Match
The easiest thing to lose is one sock. Not the pair, just one of it. To avoid that, use a safety pin to hold the pair together before throwing it into the washing machine.

Pin them properly so that they can withstand the wash. After washing, you can still hang them pinned together so that they can both make their way back to the closet, instead of getting lost.
Fruit Fly Trap
If you’re ready to say goodbye to those annoying fruit flies that disturb and inconvenience you in your kitchen, you’re going to do something really simple.

Pour vinegar and dish soap into a small bowl and mix. The vinegar smells like fruit, so they’ll be attracted to it. While the dish soap will make it slippery, so they can’t get out. Leave your trap there and watch it work its magic.
Perfect Pancakes
You’ve never gotten the perfect round shape a pancake has. Also, you still don’t understand why you end up messing up the place when you’re making them. It’s because you didn’t know that you can use press bottles for your batter.

This helps your pancakes stay in shape and also coordinates the pouring of the batter, so it doesn’t splash everywhere.
